Basic supplementation to support the immune systemUpdated 4 months ago
The autumn and winter months bring more frequent exposure to viral infections and the common cold. Overheated indoor spaces and temperature fluctuations lead to drying of the mucous membranes and weakening of mucosal immunity, making the body more vulnerable to viruses and bacteria entering through the nasopharynx or respiratory tract.
A weakened mucosal barrier also impairs the body's ability to respond quickly and mount an effective immune defense. That’s why it's essential during this season to support not only overall but also mucosal immunity—using specific vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Multivitamin Daily F20 Complex
Replenishes essential nutrient deficiencies (biotin, chromium, iodine, selenium, B vitamins, vitamin K2 MK-7, zinc, beta-carotene, vitamin D, vitamin E, tocotrienol blend) to support energy, regeneration, and immune response
Take 2 powder capsules and 1 liquid capsule daily with food
If blood vitamin D levels are low, we recommend increasing intake in addition to the Daily F20 Complex (which contains 1000 IU)
Optimal blood levels for sufficient immune function should range between 100–150 nmol/L
We recommend Vitamin D3+K2 in drops or Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 in capsules
Plays a key role in many immune processes (activating white blood cells, regulating inflammation, and supporting mucosal immunity)
We recommend additional supplementation during periods of high immune demand, beyond the 7 mg included in the Daily F20 multivitamin
Take 1 capsule ideally with food; during illness, short-term supplementation of 30–45 mg daily may be appropriate
Supports immune response during infections and inflammatory illnesses
Regular supplementation of lower doses of natural-source vitamin C (75 mg up to 3 times a day) is beneficial
In times of increased need (e.g., during colds or infections), we recommend temporarily increasing the vitamin C dosage significantly
In acute conditions, supplement 1–2 g of vitamin C daily in liposomal form, divided into doses of 250–500 mg throughout the day
Thanks to their anti-inflammatory properties, omega-3s support a balanced immune response
Adequate intake may shorten the duration of colds, reduce the incidence of respiratory infections, and aid recovery
Choose from the full range of Trime omega-3 products—we especially recommend Krill Oil +, which, thanks to its phospholipid form, is well-suited for quickly reducing inflammation during illness
In acute states, the daily dose can be doubled
In terms of immunity, astaxanthin and vitamin E act in multiple ways: they support mucosal immunity, help maintain balanced inflammatory responses, and protect immune cells from free radical damage
In acute situations, take 2 capsules daily
