Why did we choose a combination of omega 3 and vitamins D3 + K2 for the children's line?Updated 10 months ago

Holy trinity among dietary supplements for the youngest children

Vitamin D3, K2 and the semi-essential fatty acid DHA and EPA are nutrients that are not easy to obtain from a regular diet in today's conditions and at the same time are crucial to ensure normal development in children. For example, calcium, which is also often associated with the nutrition of growing children, is not that difficult to obtain an optimal supply from a balanced diet. In contrast, for vitamin D3 and K2, but also for DHA and EPA, it is not easy to design a diet that does not lead to suboptimal or insufficient intakes in young children. This is one of the reasons why the expert community favours supplementation for vitamin D3, K2, DHA and EPA, especially for pregnant women, infants and nutritionally vulnerable groups of young children (i.e. children who do not have optimal eating habits).

What results in DHA and EPA, vitamin D3 and K2 deficiency?

Inadequate supply of these vitamins is most commonly linked to impaired skeletal development, dental health, increased likelihood of developing autoimmune diseases, the development of neurodegenerative diseases including autism spectrum disorders, as well as insulin resistance and impaired blood clotting.
