Where Does Our Vitamin D3 Come From and How Is It Produced?Updated 13 days ago
In our products, we use plant-based vitamin D3 derived from marine microalgae Schizochytrium sp.
Production process
The microalgae are grown in closed and controlled cultures that ensure purity and eliminate the risk of contamination with pesticides or heavy metals. Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) is gently extracted from the biomass, typically using food-grade alcohol. Residues are strictly monitored and do not exceed 50 ppm. After extraction, the material undergoes thorough purification without the use of chemical agents, alkalis, or refining, in order to preserve the natural quality of the raw material. The final vitamin D3 is stabilized with natural carriers (e.g., MCT oil, acacia fiber), which protect the active ingredient and support its absorption.
The result
The outcome is a pure, stable, and safe plant-based cholecalciferol, free from chemical residues, heavy metals, or pesticides. The entire process meets European standards for the production of dietary supplements and ensures the high quality of the final product.
