Vitamin K2 and blood clottingUpdated 4 months ago
Our vitamin K2 MK-7 has a clean safety profile and shows no side effects, even in terms of haemocoagulation, at the basic dosage in healthy people.
The exceptions are patients taking anticoagulants (drugs that reduce blood clotting) and people with congenital genetic bleeding disorders.
In such cases, the use of vitamin K2MK7 should be consulted with a physician who specializes in this area. In most cases, only drug interactions (with anticoagulants) are a problem, where both medication and vitamin K intake must be adjusted. In congenital coagulopathies, supplementation is more complex and it is not possible to give general advice without knowing the specific case.
