Thickening or Cloudiness in Liquid Omega-3: Is It Normal?Updated 10 days ago

Thickening and cloudiness are common.

For liquid omega-3 products (Omega-3 Liquid and Kids Omega-3), thickening or cloudiness is a completely normal phenomenon that occurs at lower temperatures. It is not a defect and does not reduce product quality.

Omega-3 Liquid has a natural tendency to become thicker or solidify when chilled.

Kids Omega-3 may appear cloudy or thickened, especially after being stored in the refrigerator.

You can leave the product at room temperature for a short time or gently warm the bottle in your hands. The oil will return to its normal clear and liquid consistency within a few minutes.

Store omega-3 products in a cool, dark place (up to 25°C) before opening, and in the fridge after opening.

Regarding product quality – changes in consistency do not affect the potency or stability of omega-3 fatty acids. The products are nitrogen-flushed (to protect against oxidation), packaged in pharmaceutical-grade glass, protected with natural antioxidants, and we maintain very low TOTOX values.
