Pregnancy Essentials and pregnancy nauseaUpdated 4 months ago
When taking dietary supplements during pregnancy, it is important to tailor the dosage to individual dietary preferences, timing during the day and incorporating it between meals.
Many pregnant women have changing tastes and need to adjust their eating habits at different stages of pregnancy to find a balance between nutritional benefits and what does not cause them digestive discomfort. Often, a small change in nutritional timing or plate composition (ratios of fats, proteins and carbohydrates) is enough to make problems disappear.
Therefore, we recommend experimenting with the time and method of use, which applies to any supplement, for example:
• Keep the liquid capsules in the refrigerator and take them chilled during meals.
• Experiment with timing - some pregnant women prefer to take omega 3 in the afternoon or with an evening meal.
• Try taking the capsules with a light meal, such as a smaller snack or a larger main meal.
• Add Jerusalem artichokes (about 40 g is enough) or ginger (do not exceed 1 g of dried ginger per day, e.g. in the form of spices, or 5 g of fresh ginger, if taken regularly).
