Do Trime Omega 3 supplements also contain vitamin D and A?Updated 4 months ago
Most omega-3 supplements do not contain vitamin D or vitamin A because they primarily consist of isolated EPA and DHA fatty acids.
An exception is the product Liquid Omega 3, which is made from cod liver oil — naturally containing vitamins D and A. However, their amounts are not standardized and may vary slightly depending on the season and source of the raw material. On average, 100 ml contains approximately 2000 IU of vitamin D and 21 mcg of vitamin A, meaning that a typical dose (4 ml) contains only about 80 IU of vitamin D and 0.88 mcg of vitamin A — a negligible amount in terms of supplementation of these vitamins.
