Can pregnant/breastfeeding women and children take Calcium+D3/K2?Updated 2 days ago

Product Calcium+D3/K2 can be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women and children, but it is important to consider individual needs.

Pregnant and breastfeeding women:

  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding increase the body's demands and needs for calcium intake.
  • During pregnancy, the need for calcium increases for the development of the bones, teeth and nervous system of the fetus. The combination of calcium, vitamin D3 and K2 is ideal for proper mineralization of the bones of the mother and the developing baby.
  • Breastfeeding increases calcium requirements as this mineral is released into breast milk. Calcium is needed for the development of the baby's bones and teeth. Supplementation helps maintain optimal calcium levels in the mother's body and protects her bone mass from demineralization.

Children:

  • Children in the growth phase have an increased need for calcium, which is important for healthy bone and tooth development. The combination of calcium with vitamins D3 and K2 ensures proper utilization and storage of calcium in the body.
  • Calcium+D3/K2 is not intended for children under 3 years of age. Children aged 4-8 years and older may take 1-2 capsules per day.
